Welcome to Ask Louisiana Works, the Louisiana Works’s AI-powered Resident Assistant. Please read these Terms and Conditions before using this tool.
Ask Louisiana Works is intended to help users find general information about Louisiana Works programs, services, website content, forms, and resources. It is not a replacement for official agency determinations, legal notices, eligibility decisions, claim filings, appeals, account records, or direct communication with Louisiana Works staff.

2. Do Not Submit Sensitive Information

Unemployment claim numbers
Employer account numbers

3. Not a System of Record
Ask Louisiana Works is not a system of record. Information entered into or generated by the tool does not create, update, submit, reopen, appeal, certify, or resolve any official claim, case, account, report, filing, complaint, or request.
Using Ask Louisiana Works does not satisfy any filing deadline, reporting obligation, appeal requirement, payment obligation, documentation request, or other official requirement.
4. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for how you use Ask Louisiana Works and for evaluating any information provided by the tool.
You agree not to use Ask Louisiana Works to:
Submit unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, harassing, defamatory, or misleading content

Misrepresent AI-generated content as an official agency decision or communication
5. AI Limitations
Ask Louisiana Works uses artificial intelligence and may produce responses that are inaccurate, incomplete, unexpected, or inappropriate. The tool may also decline to answer certain questions, especially questions involving sensitive personal information, protected topics, security concerns, legal advice, or content outside its intended use.
LW may update, limit, suspend, or discontinue the tool at any time.
